We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Foodservice Equipment Installer to join our team. This full-time, in-field position is based out of Chelsea, MA, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or mechanical trades and will be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites.

ResponsibilitiesYou will:
- Safely load, transport, and unload commercial kitchen equipment with care to prevent damage
- Position equipment according to site layout and installation plans
- Uncrate, assemble, and set equipment in place following manufacturer specifications and customer requirements
- Use hand and power tools for assembly and adjustments
- Assist in the setup of related construction items like walk-in coolers, freezers, and exhaust hoods
- Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to ensure installations are completed within project scope and timelines
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to carry out accurate installations
- Adhere to all company and site-specific safety standards
- Maintain clean, organized tools and vehicles, conducting daily inspections
- Successfully complete and maintain a valid D.O.T. medical certification
- Communicate job progress, delays, or issues to the Branch and Warehouse Managers
- Track and report project-related expenses in line with company policy
- Provide courteous, professional service while on-site
- Perform walk-throughs with clients or contractors to ensure satisfaction with completed installations
You have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 13 years of experience in construction, mechanical installation, or a related field
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment assembly
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass a post-offer background check
- Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing tasks involving bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
- Completion of an accredited technical or trade program
- Familiarity with foodservice equipment and related mechanical codes
- Forklift certification
Hourly Pay Rate: 30.00 per hour to 33.00 per hour
M-F, 8-5
