Pre-Apprentice Electrical Trainee
Quad is currently seeking candidates for our Pre-Apprentice Electrical Trainee program. Career paths begin in one of our Wisconsin locations and provides a glimpse into a world class maintenance environment.

The Electrical Trainee receives a hands-on experience working in the Industrial Trades. They will assist skilled maintenance personnel in the service and repair, installation, operation, modification, of equipment throughout our advanced manufacturing facilities. Our training program includes exposure to Safe work practices, Mechanical and Electrical systems, Automation, Robotics, Facilities Maintenance, and HVAC. Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronic controls, and instrumentation.
Trainees can receive regular wage increases at performance milestones and are given a firsthand look at a variety of industrial career paths within the company.
Trainees are eligible to apply for Quads Registered Apprentice Programs. Trainee hours and school credits apply towards our apprenticeship programs.
While in the plant, Quads Electrical Trainee will be responsible for the following:
- Working a 12-hour shift. Days, nights, and weekends as needed. Flexibility of hours is required, working around school schedule.
- Working alongside experienced Electricians, assisting with troubleshooting and installation of manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Completing rotations through various maintenance departments and areas of the plant.
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidates must be able to perform the following: lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, receive and follow instructions, and use vision in order to identify defects with or without reasonable accommodation. Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision is required.
- Proficient in basic mechanical repair
- Ability to use a personal computer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or completed a Maintenance-related Electricity or Technician Program
- Experience in an Industrial manufacturing environment a plus
