**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter skilled in steel stud framing, drop ceilings, and finish carpentry. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in framing, acoustical ceilings, doors and windows installation, and glass work. This role involves cutting and measuring with precision, ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately to execute projects.
+ Install steel stud framing efficiently and effectively.
+ Perform framing and finish carpentry with attention to detail.
+ Install drop and acoustical ceilings to meet project specifications.
+ Carry out door and window installation with precision.
+ Measure and cut materials accurately as per design requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in steel stud framing and finish carpentry.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Experience with drop and acoustical ceilings installation.
+ Skilled in measuring and cutting materials accurately.
+ Proficient in door and window installation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ OSHA 30 & SST certification.
+ Experience as a commercial carpenter.
+ Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

**Work Environment**
Work across multiple projects in NYC and Long Island, primarily in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The workday begins promptly at 7:00 am, with expected arrival at 6:45 am. Some overtime is available, with work concluding around 3:30 or 4:00 pm. Employees must have a valid ID and will clock in and out of different floors of the facilities. A positive attitude, hustle, and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Tools required include a hammer, tool belt, carpentry hand tools, speed square, torpedo level, and cordless drill. Ensure productivity, follow directions precisely, and maintain a safe working environment with PPE at all times.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
