Job Title: Operations Manager - Environmental Services
Location: Norwood, MA
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established environmental servicespany in the New England region to help them hire an Operations Manager. This role oversees the planning, execution, andpliance of hazardous material abatement and demolition projects. The Operations Manager will lead a team of field supervisors and technicians while collaborating closely with internal project managers and safety teams to ensure job site performance, safety, and regulatorypliance.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage site-specific environmental remediation and demolition projects across Massachusetts and surrounding states
Supervise a team of over 50 field employees, including crew leads and supervisors
Ensure OSHA and environmentalpliance on all job sites; coordinate closely with safety staff
Manage scheduling, daily work assignments, and job-specific documentation
Oversee proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead paint
Collaborate with equipment and warehouse staff to ensure proper tooling and maintenance
Maintain accurate timekeeping and project data using project management and payroll systems
Troubleshoot field issues, implement change orders, and maintain project budgets
Coordinate with payroll weekly to assign jobs and reconcile field hours
Guide team leads on use of time tracking and project management tools
Qualifications and Must-Haves
5+ years of experience in environmental remediation, demolition, or construction operations
Field leadership experience managing large crews and multiple supervisors
Strong knowledge of abatement procedures, OSHA standards, and hazardous material protocols
Proficiency in managing project logistics, scheduling, andpliance documentation
Ability to work both from a central office and in the field; no overnight travel required
Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred for crewmunication
Familiarity with project management and timekeeping systems (training provided)
Asbestos Supervisor License and OSHA 30 certification are preferred
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
