The GMC Healthcare Community is growing and has an opening for a Healthcare Architect Team Leader in Atlanta, GA . The Healthcare Architect Team Leader is responsible for supporting the technical execution and delivery of exceptional projects.
Essential functions and responsibilities include:
- Lead project management efforts associated with your existing clients. In this position
- Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects ranging in size and complexity.
- Maintain current client relationships
- Manage current projects and be an integral part of the healthcare team involved in the management of new projects, both locally in the Tennessee and Kentucky region
- Work in conjunction with the greater GMC healthcare team across the company’s footprint.
- Travel to visit existing facilities and meet with healthcare clients and staff
- Travel for construction administration phase work, where you will have added support and assistance from GMC architecture staff.
- Works within the GMC Healthcare Community framework respecting team structure, project roles and responsibilities, and utilization of production tools and standards.
- Member of a multi-office Healthcare practice sharing, contributing, and learning best practices for delivering exceptional projects
- Broad general knowledge of architectural principles and practices, and proven ability to apply them.
- Ability to function effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
- Understanding of entire project process-development/scoping, design, and construction.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and continuous improvement with decision-making, time management and delegation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited architectural program
- 10+ of years of relevant experience
- Architect registered in GA or completed NCARB Program
- Must be able to listen and communicate effectively
- Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt with changing business needs
- Ability to use good judgment and make timely decisions
