Role: OpenShift Engineer

Strong in virtualization toll OpenShift, Python, Linux/ redhat - not looking for Devops or admin profile need pure development experience in OpenShift

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Interview: 3 interview rounds (Onsite interview, the person will be taken to a lab and they will be asked to optimize the server)

Must Have Skills

  • Linux and Kubernetes
  • A VMware background will also work - Virtualization
  • Python - Automate engineering tasks
  • Networking basics

Required Skills (a person with all these skills will be converted to to 603 level)

  • Linux (Bare metal experience)
  • Good knowledge of storage tech
  • OpenShift - done performance testing on VMware/ OpenShift
  • Deploying
  • Kubernetes
  • RHEL
  • Performance tuning
  • Basic networking skills

Job Description:

  • Advanced understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and Client policies
  • Advanced knowledge in the following key areas:
  • Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
  • Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
  • Design (compliance, security)
  • Network Engineering (planning, provision)
  • Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology
  • Advanced understanding of best practices and Client policies
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
  • Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture
  • Technical certifications as required
