Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
The Machine Operator will be responsible for running the nugget mill machine in a food manufacturing setting, ensuring the production of high-quality food products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Feed food ingredients into the mill using a hopper.
+ Operate the machine's mechanisms, such as rotating hammers, discs, and pins, to break down ingredients.
+ Use screens or sieves to control particle size and achieve the desired consistency.
+ Discharge the milled product from the mill.
+ Perform repair and troubleshooting of the mill when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation and mechanical repair.
+ Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues with the machine.
+ Skills in stacking, moving, assembling, mixing, and blending food products.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferably at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, with food manufacturing experience being ideal.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operating, and blending.
+ A demonstrated drive to advance within the company.

The work environment is a clean and well-lit food manufacturing facility that adheres to all health and safety guidelines. Employees must be able to work at a fast pace, standing for extended periods. Contractors are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The facility can become dusty due to the nature of the product, and while climate-controlled, it can reach up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
