General Laborer Job Description As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety procedures by moving materials and installing metal frames. This involves mechanically installing metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools. The role demands comfort with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, in a loud and fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Move materials and help install metal frames to improve safety procedures. Mechanically install metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools. Lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds repetitively. Work in a loud and fast-paced environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and power tools. Mechanically inclined with experience in construction or production. Ability to use basic tools such as hammers, drills, and pallet jacks. Physically capable of repetitive work including lifting, pulling, and pushing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure. Experience working with various types of hand and power tools. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Work Environment The role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment, which can be loud and chaotic. You must be available to work Monday through Friday with some potential shifts on Saturday. Flexibility to work before or after the designated shifts is required. The shifts are as follows: 1st Shift from 4:30am to 2:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2:30pm to 12:30am, with a start time of 8am on the first day. Job Type & Location This is a 3 week Contract position based out of Pooler, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
