A manufacturer located in the Eastern Indianapolis region seeks dedicated individuals for the role of Heat Treat Operator on 2nd and 3rd shifts. This position requires operating various furnaces and managing tasks in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate furnaces and adjust temperatures based on part specifications.

+ Push and pull boxes of product weighing up to 50 pounds.

+ Load and unload products from the furnace repetitively.

+ Use quality instruments to ensure parts meet specified standards.

+ Utilize shot blasting equipment to finish products after furnace treatment.

+ Weigh and package products according to customer specifications.

+ Document materials, batch numbers, and other relevant details accurately.

+ Maintain physical endurance to withstand heat and stand for 8 to 12 hours.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in general production and heavy lifting.

+ Ability to operate furnaces and perform heat treatment.

+ Material handling expertise.

+ Ability to withstand heat and lift 50+ pounds consistently.

+ Minimum of 1+ year of relevant work history.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Familiarity with fast-paced industrial environments.

+ Experience as a Heat Treat Operator.

+ Knowledge in general labor tasks.

**Available Shift & Pay**

+ 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours

+ 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential for overtime extending shifts by 2 to 4 hours

+ TRAINING

+ The first 15 weeks you will train on 1st shift 6:30am to 3:00pm

**Work Environment**

The work environment is hot, dirty, and oily, requiring comfort with such conditions. The facility spans 1 million square feet, offering opportunities to work in a robust industrial setting. Shift hours vary, with 2nd shift from 2:30PM to 11:00PM and 3rd shift from 10:30PM to 7:00AM. Training will initially occur on the 1st shift from 6:30AM to 3:00PM, Monday through Friday, for approximately 15 weeks. Be prepared for overtime, with potential 2- to 4-hour extensions at the end of shifts and possible Saturday work with advanced notice.

This is a **permanent** , direct-hire position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $49920.00/yr.
