Welder - 1st Shift

Create signs and poles from sheet metal using various methods of fabrication and metal cutting equipment. Weld pieces of material together by using either MIG or TIG welding. Will also grind welds, pieces, or shear edges with power grinder. You'll operate machinery such as shears, drill presses, various metal cutters, and more. Work Schedule: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday thru Friday Responsibilities: Position, align and weld parts Conduct daily inspections of equipment Hand grind or shear edges with a power grinder Run shears, CNC drill presses, and various metal cutters Qualifications: Recent on-the-job welding experience (MIG and TIG) Basic measurement, math, and blue-print reading ability Committed to quality, workmanship and safety
