Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in receiving and inspecting dealer supplied chassis, coordinating suspension programs, and assisting with modification duties. Your expertise will be vital in executing welding certification tests and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive and inspect dealer supplied chassis.
+ Coordinate all chassis control functions, including key and vehicle assignment duties.
+ Manage suspension programs, including Liquid Spring and other related programs.
+ Collaborate closely with the Mounting Supervisor on modification duties.
+ Assist with the company welding certification program, conducting welding certification tests as requested.
+ Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
+ Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision.
**Essential Skills**
+ Engine repair expertise in the automotive industry.
+ Valid Ohio driver's license.
+ Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
+ Familiarity with the safe operation of tools such as drills, screw guns, sanders, and jig saws.
+ Ability to analyze and evaluate situations effectively.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Ability to set work priorities and work independently.
+ Troubleshooting, electrical, and repair skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to interact with various levels of personnel and functional areas.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
+ Capability to work with arms above head.
+ Proficiency in reading and following written and verbal instructions.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
