General Laborer - Custom Cabinetry Manufacturing**
**Job Description**
Join a large manufacturing team specializing in the production of custom cabinets. This role begins in the trim department, with opportunities for advancement into other areas over time. You will gain diverse experience by working across four different departments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow job instructions, inspect work processes, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace in adherence to safety regulations.
+ Perform edge sanding by using an orbital sander on the edges of doors and headers.
+ Inspect loose components and conduct necessary repairs in the mid-inspect phase.
+ Catch panels as they come off the panel sander.
+ Hang components onto a paint line.
+ Install hinges onto doors.
+ Measure components, match order forms with products, and install shelves, roll tray tracks, and inner components in the trim phase.
+ Screw in roll tray tracks, hang doors, and install drawers in the door hanger phase.
+ Package finished cabinets into cardboard boxes.
+ Remove stain from the front and back of components by wiping with the grain of the wood.
+ Remove excess glaze from the face of components while allowing it to remain in natural areas of the doors.
+ Perform seal sanding by sanding with the grain from the outer edge to the center and selecting appropriate sandpaper for each wood or stain type.

+ Carpentry and woodworking
+ Ability to use tools for sanding, staining, and painting
+ Machine operation
+ 6 months of previous work experience
+ Ability to lift 30 lbs
+ Capability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Ability to pass a tape measure test

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a large manufacturing facility with approximately 300 employees. The environment can be loud in some areas, and safety equipment such as safety glasses and ear buds are provided. Work hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work required. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and prohibits offensive clothing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beresford, South Dakota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
