Parker Lord has immediate openings for the following role at the Robison Road facility in Erie, PA:
Maintenance Electrician
Responsibilities
Install and repair all plant electrical wiring and related equipment up to 35,000 volts. Construct, test and repair various electrical and electronic equipment.
Troubleshoot, program, and repair electrical, and CNC production and lab equipment. Basic knowledge of Servo controls.
Calibrate and service instruments and controls for ovens and other plant equipment.
Install, troubleshoot, repair and program PLC's, VFD's and automation equipment.
Install and service air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
Perform minor mechanical, hydraulic and carpentry repairs.
Comply with National Electric Code. Be able to size wire based on tables in the NEC.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of electrical, electronics, CNC, air conditioning, refrigeration, and hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical principals required to install, operate, troubleshoot and service production and lab equipment.
Ability to read complex drawings and schematics and able to layout and assemble electrical panels, and modify prints as needed.
Perform carpentry, mechanical maintenance and welding occasionally.
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 5-8 years of significant experience with industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
