Civil Estimator Position

Due to their continued growth, a General Contractor in Savannah GA is seeking Civil Estimator to join their team. This company self-preforms their Sitework and is looking for someone that has experience in land devolpment for commercial and residential subdivision projects. The Estimator is responsible for providing leadership and management to assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Capable of Building Layout and Interpreting Construction Documents

Excellent Communication and Problem Solving Skills

Coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers, Building Owners, and City Officials

Basic Computer Skills and Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (word, excel, outlook, Microsoft project, adobe)

Material Deliveries

Enforcing a Safe Work Environment and Other Site Controls

Knowledge of Sitework/Earthwork for Commercail and light industrial projects.

Daily Reporting and Logging of Site Activities

You will provide feedback to Project Managers for use in future bidding or negotiations, especially subcontractor performance evaluations.
