ESTIMATED PAY RANGE $70,000 - $80,000 JOB SUMMARY As an Electrical Engineer, you will be competent in creating schematics for electrical power systems, control systems, and Printed-Circuit-Board-(PCB)-based designs; be comfortable in specifying, sourcing, and testing electrical components; have proficiency in design of electrical power systems, including familiarity with generators, distribution transformers, breakers, and other components within a distribution system; have knowledge and experience in electrical safety, including low-voltage AC systems and medium voltage systems; be comfortable with iterative planning, prototyping, and validation testing of designs; have proficiency with common laboratory equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition devices, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required Experience with SolidWorks Electrical strongly preferred Experience crafting Bills of Materials (BOMs) for a product Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, derivative standards, and codes for grid-connected systems A minimum of one year of previous engineering experience; internships and co-ops can be considered for this position Knowledge of power systems is strongly preferred SKILLS AND VALUES Capable of working independently and as a team member Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking Effective verbal and written communication Desire to work on a variety of projects ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please consider joining Applied's team of talented employees!
