AV Group NB Inc. Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic

Role Overview

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic will be installing, troubleshooting, testing, and performing maintenance on a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with a Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic License
• Experience in an industrial environment considered an asset.
• Preference will be given to those with multiple trades.
• Must be willing to work overtime and take calls.
