Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ECAD Librarian to join our RMS ECAD Library Team. This role is dedicated to the creation and maintenance of electronic component models within ECAD systems, supporting our electrical design teams with high-quality, standardized library content.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zuken CR5000/8000 and eXpedition, and a strong understanding of ECAD library management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, model, and manage electrical components in ECAD tools.
  • Maintain and update part libraries to ensure alignment with internal design standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical engineering teams to support schematic capture and PCB layout workflows.
  • Validate component data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for library processes, tools, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Mandatory experience with:
  • Zuken CR5000/8000
  • eXpedition
  • Proficiency with additional ECAD tools such as Altium, Cadence, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical component modeling and library management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
