Mechanical Technician

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to perform standard tests, troubleshoot equipment, and fabricate or modify parts in an automotive setting. Job Requirements: 6+ years of closely related experience or related associate degree with 4+ years experience

Ability to prepare and conduct standard tests

Proficiency in troubleshooting testing equipment to a component level

Familiarity with lab scheduling and data storage software/systems

Preferred Skills: Experience with Test Lab equipment and Dyno Testing

Job Responsibilities: Operate all equipment correctly and safely

Instruct less experienced technicians as needed

Fabricate or modify parts to match design directions

Break testing into tasks and direct others on those tasks
