CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator with hands-on experience setting up and operating HAAS milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining aluminum components to tight tolerances and will play a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate production runs.

salary: $46,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce precision parts.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for aluminum machining.
• Perform first-article inspections and adjust setups as needed to maintain quality.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure part conformity and efficiency.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to setup, tooling, and machine performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production data, inspection results, and setup sheets.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Mastercam
