Role: School Handyman

Hours: Mon-Fri (11am-7:30pm)

Location: 3030 C G Zinn Rd Thorndale PA 19372

Join Campus Services Group (CSG) as a School Handyman! In this role, you will perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure that school buildings and facilities remain in excellent condition. Responsibilities

  • Help with small repairs such as fixing doors, changing light bulbs, or patching walls

  • Support janitorial staff when needed (moving furniture, taking out trash, etc.)

  • Assist with setting up rooms for school events and activities

  • Perform basic outdoor work such as sweeping walkways, picking up litter, or light snow removal

  • Report larger maintenance problems to the supervisor

  • Keep tools and supplies organized

  • Follow all school safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or building trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing).
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible, friendly, with good communication and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and crawling.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus.
  • Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching
  • Requires climbing and balancing
  • Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
  • Must provide a criminal background check.
