Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

Mostly Remote: As and when assignment required- On call

Duration : Long term

Client has a need for a seasoned Enterprise Infrastructure Architect (EIA)/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Department of Innovation & Information Technology office to support the development of high-level implementation plans focused on specific improvements to IT platforms (Network, Telephony, Cloud, Endpoint protection, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery etc.) and applications and Cybersecurity initiatives. LIPA management identified opportunities for advancing LIPA's technology improvements to enhance operational efficiencies and cybersecurity posture.

The EIA/SME will support management and accomplish the following as needed:

Analyzes technology and information assurance-related problems and provides basic engineering and technical support to solve them.

Assists the Authority in developing architecture diagrams and implementation plans for large IT initiatives.

Provides subject matter expertise and support on smaller IT and Cybersecurity issues.

Performs analysis and provides recommendations on IT platform solutions.

Provide advice to IT and Cybersecurity leadership about technology trends and best practices to support the authority's technology, cloud computing, and cybersecurity initiatives.
