We're looking for a motivated and hardworking General Laborer to join our erosion control team. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a hands-on crew, and take pride in a job well done we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of silt socks, erosion blankets, and other erosion control measures
Operate equipment such as bark blowers and compost spreaders (training available)
Load and unload materials for job sites
Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations
Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
Experience in erosion control, landscaping, or general construction is a plus, but not required
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Travel:
Frequent travel is required, often with the entire crew. Travel distances can be significant, so please ensure you're comfortable being on the road. Transportation to and from the site is provided; you may be dropped off after the day is done.
Lodging:
Hotel accommodations are provided for overnight stays during work-related travel.
Meals & Water:
Water is provided on-site. Meals and snacks are your responsibility.
Tools & Equipment:
Work is physically demanding but made more efficient with the use of stake poundersno swinging sledgehammers required.
Safety Requirements:
High-visibility vests and hard hats must be worn at all times on job sites.
