Steel Erector Carpenters (Pre-Engineer Metal Buildings)

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Steel Erector Carpenters for immediate work in La Crosse, WI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity working on the construction of large pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) for commercial and industrial clients.

Pay: $32$35/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (4050 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay

Position Overview:
Were looking for skilled steel erectors with experience assembling large-scale PEMBs. This role involves installing structural framing, siding, roofing, insulation, and trim. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work efficiently at heights and in dynamic jobsite conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Erect and install large pre-engineered metal building components
Set and align structural steel members including columns, beams, purlins, and girts
Install metal siding, roofing panels, insulation, and trim systems
Read and interpret blueprints, erection plans, and layout drawings
Safely use hand and power tools, aerial lifts, and rigging equipment
Assist with crane rigging and steel placement
Maintain safe work practices and follow site protocols
Collaborate with foremen and crew members to meet deadlines

Requirements:
Proven experience erecting large pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs)
Must be able to read and follow construction drawings and instructions
Must have your own reliable transportation to and from the job site
Must have own basic hand tools
Job requires proper use of PPE: Hard Hat, Hi Vis Vest, Gloves, Safety Glasses
Must be authorized to work in the United States
