Residential Electrician

PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) has an immediate need for experienced Electricians in Silver Spring, MD. In this fulltime role you will support on residential projects. Work will be performed in both residential and common areas of a residential community. Note: The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring and systems throughout the community
• Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Install and service control and distribution equipment (motors, relays, switches, thermostats, breaker panels, etc.)
• Ensure all work complies with safety codes and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Previous residential/commercial electrical experience
• Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code
• Valid OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Tools of the trade and reliable transportation
