SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Director of Project Management or CEO.
General / Field Superintendent is responsible for the daily onsite communication between client and workforce, ensuring that CARVART is accurately represented in the field.
All General / Field Superintendents are responsible for all the Field Operations Process, inclusive but not limited to:
Assist in assigning and maintaining jobsite labor force in accordance with project execution, plan, and schedule.
Ensure there is adequate labor on the project to maintain install efficiency.
To ensure all safety and security credentials as well as a project specific safety plan are provided by the subcontractor prior to installation (OSHA, SWAC, etc.). Create site safety plan.
To ensure that JHA's are created inclusive of toolbox talks are submitted to the GC prior to scheduling installation.
Is responsible for the onsite coordination between trades on installation sequence and requirements inclusive of acceptable tolerances.
Is responsible for the jobsite logistics including reviewing accessibility, equipment path, rigging needs and acceptable work hours.
Gain Feedback from Clients and subcontractors and reasonably handle jobsite conflicts.
To insure daily and weekly reports are being submitted by responsible parties.
Coordinate jobsite, meetings between internal parties and design team and owners.
Define and agree on installation schedule and sequence with the client.
Prepare and distribute to client the site Org Chart identifying key members.
Inspect and confirm conformity of areas handed over to RG by the client.
Record and report to client delays caused by others.
Define delivery schedule and temporary site staging.
Call for materials and arrange deliveries.
Attend site meeting with the client.
Keep track and issue of weekly field reports.
Perform site installation demo instruction with subcontractors.
Keep record of EWO's/field tickets.
Handover completed punch list.
Receive certificate of completion from client.
Responsible to ensure any jobsite emergencies are handled in a professional manner consistent with the values of RG Glass.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Procore
Advanced skills in reviewing architectural drawings and engineering release documents for design and budgetary conformance
Must have advanced industry knowledge of construction sequencing specific to framing, finished construction and end-of-project job phasing
