Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Architect to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing code reviews, ensuring compliance with project budgets and schedules, selecting and evaluating design components, and implementing them in projects. The successful candidate will evaluate existing conditions and formulate responses to challenges, taking responsibility for significant aspects of larger projects as well as handling smaller projects. Daily design and technical development of projects are key aspects of this role, along with supervising and producing construction documents through CAD and BIM.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct QA/QC of consultants' work.
  • Engage in construction administration for select projects.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of construction techniques and material selection.
  • Manage project files simultaneously across multiple projects.
  • Document and communicate specific project tasks to clients and team members.
  • Comply with internal project budgets concerning team hours.
  • Design and implement project scopes of work while adhering to schedules.
  • Manage between 1 to possibly 15 projects at a time.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit is absolutely essential.
  • Possession of an architectural license is required.
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in education and/or public/state projects.
  • Technical experience in all phases of design, documentation, detailing, and construction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid group life insurance, and short term

and long-term disability. You will be eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance upon commencement of

employment, and the balance of the benefits after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.

Your PTO will accrue for the full calendar year as follows: 10 accrued vacation days, 5 accrued sick days, 2

accrued personal days, and nine (9) paid holidays. We offer flexible hours and a hybrid work setting after the

initial 90-day probationary period. SSP offers a voluntary 401(k) profit sharing plan as well as an employerfunded 3% safe harbor profit sharing plan; participation would begin after you have completed the plan's

eligibility period of 1 year and 1,000 hours of employment.

Participation starts on the next available enrollment

date after the eligibility period.
