The Service and Maintenance Filed Manager plays an important role in the division by being the frontline leader to all service and maintenance staff, supporting and assisting in maintaining all company safety efforts, and ensuring strong relationships with field staff and other leadership team members. Job Location This position will be located at our facility in Phoenix, AZ. Job Responsibilities Coordinates all service and maintenance activities and accuracy of project paperwork and assignments with the dispatch and commercial team. Leading a team of service and maintenance technicians, reviewing work orders and schedules for each site visit. Review the site in general and each location in particular for adequate access and installation and work with property owners on scheduling the team to be on site. Make note of the progress of service and maintenance on the site, paying particular attention to when it would be critical to complete our work so that we do not impede the progress of the overall project. Maintains positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Understand the contract between Oldcastle Infrastructure and the customer/owner. Establish the service and maintenance process and close-out procedures with the Project Manager, Owner, and Architect before turning the project over to the client. Schedules and procure tools and equipment necessary for the project. Reviewing the stie for general issues and drywell locations to have adequate access Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes. Checking the site for safety concerns before starting work on a site. Assists with city submittals and permits at the various cities within your territory as necessary when initiated by scheduling. Coordinate efforts with project superintendent/GC to let them know that you have called Bluestake and meet onsite to review the scope of our work, access, staking. Etc. Assess and discuss any potential problems that may develop between now and the time that we must mobilize. Discuss the sequence of our work to best suit his overall project coordination and our schedule. Take pictures, when possible, of the Bluestake markings on existing site projects, in-fill projects, or any projects that the Bluestake marks indicate utilities in the general area Display knowledge and confidence of the municipality's requirement that the wells penetrate ten (10) feet into permeable soils and the necessity of approval should additional drilling be required. Answer questions regarding permeable soils and how the determination is made of suitable permeable soils. Communicate with the customer to make sure they know when we arriving on site and have access to the location of service. If necessary, follow up and revisit the site and check for any potential issues that may have changed from the last visit. Coordinate with the vactor crew on daily schedules, special considerations, and safety for each visit Meet the team on site when possible to interface with the client and team during service. Report and document any changes that may come up with the superintendent, GC or client that is on site. Alert the sales team of any changes that may have occurred to make sure we are able to complete the work. Check the site when the work is completed. Review the quality of our finished work, clean up, etc. Make a final contact with the Superintendent either in person or by phone to solicit his feedback on our work and to thank him. When the project is 100% complete, follow up with the Service and Maintenance Technicians to turn in all of their paperwork including the detailed notes of the job.
