Welder/Fitter

We’re looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team! The ideal candidate is experienced in hardwire and flux core welding, blueprint reading, and fitting work. If you’re safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and flux core welding using various wire @types (e.g., .035, .045, .052, 1/16, 3/32)

• Weld on various material thicknesses and complete multi-pass and large fillet welds

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols with accuracy

• Use weld gauges and measuring tools to ensure precision

• Perform stainless steel welding as needed

• Fit components using open table or fixture methods

• Utilize heat straightening and common fitter tools

• Identify tolerances and projections (1st and 3rd angle) on technical drawings

• Work safely in confined spaces and at heights when required

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Intermediate to expert welding skills with hardwire and flux core

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and weld symbols

• Experience with stainless steel welding

• Ability to add/subtract fractions and decimals

• Familiarity with heat straightening techniques

• No fear of heights or confined spaces
