WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all building systems and equipment are operating efficiently. Resolve issues that arise to keep building maintenance activities running smoothly and facilitate repairs in a timely manner. This role will require a partnership with other team members to ensure a consistent high level of quality and productivity.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Supervises and coordinates general maintenance of the facility, equipment, and machinery.
Oversees staff that performs masonry, painting, electrical, carpentry, toolmaking, and machine shop work.
Estimates hours required to complete tasks, prepares work schedules, assigns work assignments, and inspects completed projects to ensure work meets quality standards.
Explore new technologies to aid in the redesign to simplify our process and eliminate waste
Assist Mechanical and Electrical Departments with troubleshooting
Contribute to development of processes and procedures.
Maintain work within framework of OHSA & NEC guidelines
Maintain focus on continuous improvement through researching and sourcing innovative, cost-efficient business solutions
Work with OEM's contractors and sub-contractors to complete projects in timely fashion; schedule contractors for annual services
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferred Engineering; 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Corrective maintenance, management, planning and preventive maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.
- Familiarity with basic computer programs for record keeping.
