WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all building systems and equipment are operating efficiently. Resolve issues that arise to keep building maintenance activities running smoothly and facilitate repairs in a timely manner. This role will require a partnership with other team members to ensure a consistent high level of quality and productivity.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Supervises and coordinates general maintenance of the facility, equipment, and machinery.

• Oversees staff that performs masonry, painting, electrical, carpentry, toolmaking, and machine shop work.

• Estimates hours required to complete tasks, prepares work schedules, assigns work assignments, and inspects completed projects to ensure work meets quality standards.

• Explore new technologies to aid in the redesign to simplify our process and eliminate waste

• Assist Mechanical and Electrical Departments with troubleshooting

• Contribute to development of processes and procedures.

• Maintain work within framework of OHSA & NEC guidelines

• Maintain focus on continuous improvement through researching and sourcing innovative, cost-efficient business solutions

• Work with OEM's contractors and sub-contractors to complete projects in timely fashion; schedule contractors for annual services

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferred Engineering; 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Corrective maintenance, management, planning and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs for record keeping.
