- Design, develop, and test discrete electronic components and circuits for AC/DC power supply applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for new products.
- Perform simulations and analyses to ensure the reliability and performance of electronic designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronic components and power supplies.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in discrete electronics and power supply technologies.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, layout drawings, and test reports.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and developing discrete electronic components and AC/DC power supplies.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuit design, simulation, and analysis tools.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power supplies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with power electronics and high-frequency circuit design.
- Knowledge of thermal management techniques for electronic components.
- Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation.
- Proficiency in software tools such as LTspice, Altium Designer, PowerEsim, PLECS, and ANSYS Electronics Desktop.
The work environment consists of a team of 10 engineers, including mechanical, electrical, and quality engineers. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Electrical Engineering Manager and support 1-2 lead engineers. The role offers opportunities for professional growth by working closely with engineers to alleviate their workload while gaining exposure to various engineering areas.
