are not limited to The Senior Project Manager shall have a minimum of fifteen 15 years of responsible experience performing Program Management and Construction Management duties for PMCM contracts with agencies such as MTA Amtrak NJTransit PANYNJ NYSDOT or similar This position will be responsible for the successful oversight of a large Design Build contract on behalf of the MTA Providing program oversight leading large teams including subconsultants and working alongside staff at agencies delivering transportation infrastructure programsProviding leadership to the team including the commercial manager project controls manager construction manager design compliance manager quality manager document control manager and safety managerDetermining resource needs for project assignments staffing levels skills and schedule durationsDeveloping organizing facilitating and attending scheduled coordination meetings and developingdirecting action plans providing oversight and accountability of actions to achieve delivery schedulesAssuring that all applicable safety measures are in placeHolding accountability for invoice accuracy and completion before billingUpdating the existing Project Management Plans PMP Quality Management Plans QMPs and Construction Management Plans CMPs for major construction programsAssisting the client in the investigation and resolution of construction or quality related issuesPerforming or overseeing management system audits to verify complianceMinimum requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline15 years of experience working on major construction oversight projects including projects larger than 100MM in construction valueExperience with Amtrak preferredExperience with MTA PMC contractsLicensed Professional Engineer in the State of New YorkTechnical requirements Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team involving staff clients and outside agenciesStrong problem solving workload management and organizational skills with limited supervisionExperience with Microsoft Office Outlook Word Excel and AccessOther miscellaneous qualities Professional self motivated team player with strong collaboration skillsCompensation 250000 to 285000 per year The expected salary range for the position is displayed in
