Equipment Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic with a minimum of three years' experience in repairing mobile mining equipment. This role requires exposure to mining equipment brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Liebherr, with a focus on machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacements. OEM experience is highly desired.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain mobile mining equipment with a focus on machine rebuilds, overhauls, and major component replacements.
+ Disassemble and rebuild Frac Transmissions.
+ Utilize welding fabrication techniques, including arc welding, metal inert gas welding, arc gouging, and oxyacetylene torch use.
+ Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on heavy equipment and diesel engines.
+ Operate service vehicles efficiently and maintain a clean driving record.
+ Work independently in the field, ensuring tasks are performed with urgency and exceed customer expectations.
+ Maintain a tool inventory sufficient to perform assigned tasks and adhere to safe working practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of three years' experience repairing mobile mining equipment.
+ Experience with mining equipment brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, and Liebherr.
+ Proficiency in disassembly and assembly/rebuilding of Frac Transmissions.
+ Technical expertise in welding fabrication and hydraulic systems.
+ Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ OEM experience is highly desired.
+ Proficient in computer use and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
+ Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and high accuracy.
+ Ability to lift over 50 pounds and maintain a safe working record.
+ Valid driver's license required.

This position involves a 14-7 rotation with working hours from 6am to 3pm. The role is based in a shop environment with both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, located in LA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
