Laborer-Cemetery

This is a non-benefited position responsible for a variety of manual duties related to cemetery maintenance, grave preparation, sprinkler system repairs, painting, cleaning, driving equipment and vehicles, and other duties as assigned. Uses a variety of tools and equipment depending on the specific assignment.Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have good driving record. Due to equipment and city vehicle operation, applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to perform manual labor outside during spring, summer, fall, and winter months. The successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation.Starting range typically starts on the lower end depending on experience and qualifications.Flexible and Seasonal positions available. Flexible positions will work up to 28 hours per week. Seasonal positions will be available starting March 1, will work up to 40 hours per week, and will last up to 6 months from date of hire. Schedule for both classifications may include after hours and Saturdays.Those interested in applying should submit their application online.
