Title : Maintenance Mechanic/ Sr.
Location : Orangeburg NY
Duration: Direct Hire
Hours : M-F Monday Friday 7am-3:30pm
Start : ASAP
Comments: OT Available, On Call Coverage: 2pm-10:30pm every six weeks once trained (paid a min of 4 hours when called in for emergency ) , Shift differential(10%) for the week you are on call

Education:

• High School or GED
• Senior Mechanic: 7 years of experience
• Mechanic : 5 years of experience

"Must Haves"

• Under 45 min commute(due to the being on call once every 6 weeks)
• Electrical & Electronics knowledge in general
• Packaging & Filling equipment exp. is a HUGE plus !!
• Performs the maintenance repair, overhaul and setup of all the plant operating equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipment
• Replaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts; electrical or mechanical and/or hydraulic drive and/or control systems
• Disassembles, cleans, oils, greases, repairs, and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as a preventive maintenance procedure
• Performs installation, repair and/or maintenance work on plant building facilities
• Constructs offices and relocates office areas as needed
• Records, files, maintains and makes readily available all records, logs, parts' lists, suppliers' lists, work records (both performed and to be performed), stock records, manuals and/or all other required maintenance records and/or files relating to all plant operating equipment
