Qualified candidate is someone that has a background in welding, is reliable, and looking to grow.

The Welder-Machine Operator is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the production of the company s products. They operate and maintain the machines that fabricate and repair metal structures such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and punches that cut, shape and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes and structures by performing the following duties below.

Qualifications:

Welding experience / certification is required

Flux core knowledge

Ability to lift and do physical work

Work well as part of a team

Good attendance

Willingness to learn

Job duties:

Make sure product is of good, finished quality

Ensure welding meets standards and specifications

Ensure correct welding position and size

Periodic checks on machine ensure proper functioning

Set up machine for job being done

Make sure all safety devices are on machine

Check for proper material (size, length, thickness)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7am 3:30pm with overtime as needed

Pay:

$17.00 to $20.00 per hour BOE
