Heavy Equipment Operator - Crew Lead Job Description We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to lead a crew responsible for installing water lines to a commercial building. This role involves operating an excavator to perform trenching and a front-end loader to clear dirt from the site. Responsibilities Lead a crew in the installation of water lines to a commercial building. Operate an excavator to trench approximately 4 feet deep. Utilize a front-end loader to clear dirt away from the construction site. Ensure safety and efficiency in all earthwork and utility construction tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including excavators and front-end loaders. At least 4 years of operating experience with heavy equipment. 2 years of experience in utility construction. 4 years of experience in commercial construction. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
