Your impact

Design and coordinates structural elements for life sciences building projects working closely with Architectural discipline project leads, structural design technical leadership and engineering discipline project leads to design, develop, and document the required structural elements for complex program-driven life science and pharmaceutical facilities. Understand of building structural materials and systems, methods of construction, and the relationships of potential caustic or corrosive materials. Capable to coordinate the structural design in conjunction with the local building codes to meet the client's operational needs and expectations. Meet and coordinates with other project related disciplines to discuss technical aspects of project design, project specifications, and construction details. Ability to design structures using a variety of material types based on project needs and chemical reactions.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or closely related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation. As an alternative, the employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or closely related field and 7 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation.

Travel: Less than 10% domestic travel for the clients' site visit.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

Expertise/ knowledge of: Designing and detailing structural systems related to steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry construction. Engaging and reviewing construction methods related to new buildings, existing building analysis, and structural modifications for renovations. Working proficiently with structural design software: Hilti Profis, GT Strudl, and Risa 3D & Risa Foundation. Utilizing project review and documentation software: Navisworks, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

105,872.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

114,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $105,872.00 to $114,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
