Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Product Design Engineer with expertise in Rhino 3D surfacing
and mechanical design to join our onsite engineering team in Wisconsin. The role
involves conceptual product design, detailed 3D modeling, engineering documentation,
and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturable and assembly-
friendly products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine complex 3D surfaced models using Rhino 3D, translating
conceptual sketches into precise digital models.
Create hand sketches and 2D AutoCAD drawings to support product concepts
and engineering specifications.
Utilize Autodesk Inventor and Vault for detailed mechanical design and data
management.
Apply principles of mechanical engineering, electrical considerations, Design for
Assembly (DFA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize product
designs.
Interpret and apply GD&T standards to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
in manufacturing.
Collaborate closely with engineers, manufacturing, and suppliers to validate and
finalize designs.
Maintain clear and organized documentation including BOMs, assembly
instructions, and engineering change notices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
2 to 6 years of professional experience in product design engineering with Rhino
3D surfacing expertise.
Proficient in hand sketching for concept development.
Skilled in 3D surfaced models using Rhino 3D, Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and
AutoCAD 2D.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.
Experience with Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturing principles.
Knowledgeable in GD&T standards and their practical implementation.
Effective communication skills and aptitude for teamwork in a fast-paced
environment.
Must be available to work onsite in Wisconsin.
