Afternoon Shift Shear Operator $22/Hour to Start
Location: Langley, BC

Position Overview:
Were currently hiring a full-time Afternoon Shift Shear Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Wage:
$22/hour to start
$23/hour after successful completion of 3-month probation
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM 1:00 AM
Initial 2-week Monday-Friday training on day shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Operate hydraulic shear machines to cut steel to precise lengths
Measure, inspect, and verify cut material against specifications
Load steel stock and handle finished pieces
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Adhere to production targets and health & safety procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience with industrial machinery or in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
Safety-focused, punctual, and team-oriented
Must have reliable transportation no public transit available to our location
