Aircraft Painter**
**Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma**
**Job Type: Contract**
**Hours:5060 hours per week**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilledAircraft Painterto join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting Boeing aircraft parts and related components. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as you will interpret blueprints and specifications to carry out complex painting and processing operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders to guide painting and processing tasks.
+ Set up and operate chem-mill processing equipment to remove metal from parts and assemblies.
+ Operate ovens, furnaces, and quenching tanks for heat treatment of metal components.
+ Perform anodizing, electroplating, and cleaning of metal parts using specialized equipment.
+ Apply primers, protective coatings, and finish coats using various paint spraying equipment.
+ Mix and thin paints and surfacing materials as required.
+ Operate robotic spray coating systems and apply radar absorptive materials.
+ Conduct rework and touch-up painting as needed.
+ Record manufacturing data using manual or digital systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in aircraft and aviation painting techniques.
+ Experience with paint preparation, spray guns, and touch-up work.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft painting.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working on Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
+ Skills in sanding, aircraft maintenance, and working in a paint booth environment.
