**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Construction Manager / General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project execution, from planning and scheduling to quality control and safety management. The General Superintendent ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPISH**

+ Supervise and manage all on-site construction activies

+ Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

+ Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

+ Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations.

+ Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

+ Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

+ Review and approve project plans, specifications, and schedules.

+ Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reports.

+ Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and changes.

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes.

+ Train and mentor site personnel to enhance team performance.

+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

**Education** : Bachelor's degree or 10 years of equivalent experience

**Field of Study Preferred:** Engineering or Construction Mgmt Construction technology, business, economics, public administration or related field.

**Required Work Experience:** 5 years of experience is a supervisory role withing the construction industy. Extensive knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards. Strong job costing & forecasting experience. AutoCAD experience a plus. Knowledge of GPS/Survey preferred..

**Required Training/Certifications:** 30 hour OSHA card.

**Required Computer and Software Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office. Primavera or related industry software experience strongly preferred.

**Travel Requirements:** Some travel to local sites extensive travel, sometimes on poor road conditions and in adverse weather conditions

**Additional Requirements:**

+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
