General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our production team, contributing to the creation of high-quality architectural precast components. This role involves working with architectural panels, custom fabrication, and site furnishings. Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of a crew leader to learn basic skills such as setting up and oiling forms. Measure surfaces and panels accurately. Lay mesh and tie reinforcing bars and steel. Set inserts and strike off. Strip forms and perform cleanup duties. Show consistent improvement in skill performance. Take initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday. Inform the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with company policy. Demonstrate loyalty and mutual respect for other personnel. Function as a team player and seek ways to improve work processes. Assume responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and concrete assembly. Capability for general labor and heavy lifting. Proficiency in panel building and assembly. Skilled in the use of tape measures and construction techniques. Ability to perform loading tasks. 1+ year of previous concrete experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work on feet for 50+ hours a week. Consistent production of high-quality products. Understanding and application of basic geometry concepts.
