Skills/ Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain with 12 months

4-6 years of experience in civil site design, permitting, & project management

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including grading, profiles, & pipe networks

Working knowledge of hydrology modeling software (e.g. Hydraflow Extensions)

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations

Understanding of state stormwater & erosion control regulations in the Southeast & Mid-Atlantic regions

Ability to prepare stormwater management reports, permit applications, and construction specifications

Responsibilities:

Prepare site layout, grading, utility, & erosion control plans for commercial & educational facilities

Perform hydrology & hydraulic modeling to support stormwater management designs & reports

Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, and permitting agencies to ensure project objectives and regulatory requirements are met

Research regulatory requirements and contribute to Site Investigation Reports during the due diligence phase

Support project management tasks including schedule tracking, document organization, & quality assurance review

Assist in construction phase support including responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
