We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and the ability to work effectively in various environments. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues on-site.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to ensure seamless project completion.
Conduct welding tasks as required for specific plumbing installations.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
Strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices and techniques.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Proficiency in field service operations with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
