Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in both residential and commercial settings. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction through high-quality service.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot system problems effectively.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC needs.
Perform maintenance tasks including cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects or installations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction, plumbing, appliance repair, or property maintenance.
Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license to travel to job sites as needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
