Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon

Pay Range: $50/hr. - $60/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Debug and resolve EMC issues identified during regulatory compliance testing, including radiated emissions and voltage interruptions.
  • Collaborate with the Onto Innovation team to retrieve and interpret design information related to EMC challenges.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan for in-house debugging and coordinate with external test labs for retesting.
  • Manage the acquisition of necessary test equipment and oversee on-site activities for prototype machines.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports outlining findings, solutions, and recommendations for future product development.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in EMC testing and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and component systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with test equipment and methodologies for debugging electrical issues.
