Pipe Layer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline construction and be familiar with the operation of heavy equipment. The successful applicant will be responsible for laying pipelines, ensuring they are installed safely and efficiently, and meeting quality standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires individuals to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes, to prepare pipeline routes and install pipes.
- Lay pipelines using specialized tools and techniques, ensuring that they are securely fastened and meet safety standards.
- Perform concrete finishing and other construction tasks as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of pipes.
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other construction teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Weld pipes and other equipment as required.

Skills

- Experience in pipeline construction and operation.

- Pipe laser
- Familiarity with rotary laser
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with trench safety equipment
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with other team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
