- Perform sizing and pressure drop calculations.
- HVAC equipment sizing and specifications for AHU's, DX Units, Chillers, Pumping systems, Cooling Towers, Boilers, and Heat exchangers.
- Apply principles, theories, and concepts in HVAC and mechanical engineering, along with a working knowledge of related fields.
- Provide oversight and training to engineering team members.
- Resolve a diverse scope and range of complex problems through data analysis and evaluation.
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Develop project design basis, specifications, and perform detailed engineering.
- Ensure conformance to engineering codes, standards, and company policies.
- May perform in a project leadership role and/or supervise activities of lower-level personnel.
- Contribute to a team environment.
- Perform detailed technical analysis of complex project issues.
- Break complex technical tasks into manageable subtasks.
- Travel to site locations to provide engineering support and attend meetings.
- Prior knowledge of engineering, industrial, manufacturing, and/or construction industry.
- Understanding of scopes of work and construction safety protocols.
- Experience in HVAC, ASHRAE, SMACNA & ACGIH Codes.
- Building Load Calculation Software experience with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years related experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, technical engineering software, some CADD experience (AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or MicroStation).
- Good verbal and writing skills.
- Willingness to travel for infrequent field assignments.
- Ability to work independently and in a diverse team setting.

This position is primarily office-based, offering a professional work environment. Engineers will have access to technical engineering software, with some CADD experience preferred.
