Project Manager

As the Project Manager, you will support several teams from the start of a project to it's execution and ultimate close. Project Managers also support problem solving issues to ensure that teams in the field are able to execute safely, with quality, and as efficiently as possible. GE Vernova is responsible for thousands of turbines globally and you will be helping make sure that they are producing renewable electricity.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $44-$50/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Location: Onsite, Schenectady, NY

Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, PTO, and Paid Holidays

Assignment Length: 6 Month Opportunity

Whats a typical day as Project Manager (Pitch Bearings)? Youll be:

Supporting project execution from Engineering Disposition through Return to Service and job closure, including invoicing, quality reporting, and debriefing.

Ensuring all necessary planning tasks are completed prior to field mobilization, including Purchase Orders, Service Request Approval, and Tooling orders.

Maintaining the Pitch Bearing tracker, requiring input from both the Engineering and Field Services teams.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Hold a Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college, or have an associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an operational/execution role, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational/execution role.

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational/execution role.

Are an energetic self-starter with a desire to learn and a focus on continuous improvement.
