Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer for our 2nd Shift. This role involves working closely with a full-time employee to learn about machine operations, part pulling, and visual inspections. The position offers opportunities for growth and permanent hire based on attendance, attitude, and work performance.

Responsibilities

• Train with a full-time employee for the first 1-3 weeks on machine operations and quality inspections.

• Monitor the machine, pull parts off the line, and conduct visual inspections for defects.

• Package inspected parts and prepare them for the quality assurance area.

• Work with Plastic Injection Molding or assembly cells.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to conduct visual inspections

• Skills in pulling parts and general production

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machine operating experience

• Experience with visual inspections

This facility is known for its high precision stamping, complex molding, and assembly processes. As a Tier 2 Automotive supplier, it has expanded into the Cosmetic Industry. The work environment is exceptionally clean, well-organized, and brightly lit, fostering a productive and pleasant atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
